Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to take ownership of electronic products at the system level, from requirements and architecture to integration, testing, and validation.

You will work across electronics hardware, embedded firmware, sensors, communication interfaces, power systems, and mechanical integration, ensuring that different subsystems work together as a complete product.

Experience with electro-optical systems is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Translate product needs into system requirements and technical specifications.
Define system architecture, subsystems, interfaces, and communication paths.
Coordinate interfaces between hardware, firmware, sensors, power, and mechanical systems.
Support component and subsystem selection and technical design decisions.
Lead system integration, testing, debugging, and validation.
Investigate system-level failures and perform root-cause analysis.
Define test cases and acceptance criteria based on requirements.
Identify technical risks and support their resolution.
Maintain system requirements, architecture, interface, and verification documentation.
Participate in design reviews and support development from prototype to production.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in electronic, embedded, or multidisciplinary system development.
Good understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, analog/digital electronics, power systems, and communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I²C, USB, CAN, or Ethernet.
Experience with system integration, testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Ability to understand schematics, block diagrams, and technical specifications.
Hands-on experience with electronic laboratory equipment.
Good technical documentation and communication skills.

Good to Have

Experience with electro-optical, imaging, sensing, or optical systems.
Knowledge of PCB design, CAD and firmware development.
Experience with requirements management, verification and validation, FMEA, EMC, environmental, or reliability testing.
Experience taking an electronic product from prototype through production.
